Annual Report Critique


Loreal 2009
  • More creative layout
  • Reads more like a magazine that a book - makes it more engaging
  • Well crafted type - pushed further
  • Colourful info graphics - easier to understand
  • Lots of photos - of products and people

Australia Post 2009-2010
  • Structured layout communicates professional
  • Rounded shapes and warm red colour communicate friendly feel of brand
  • Not overdecorated
  • Type flows well.
  • Boring bits clean and straight forward

Mcdonalds
  • Not enough white space
  • Needs better heirachy
  • Body copy needs to be broken up more - spaces
  • No branding elements on most pages
  • Clearly divided into interesting and boring
Heinz 2008
  • Pages too busy
  • Could have a stronger sense of flow and direction through the pages
  • Stronger heirachy
  • Colour scheme makes pages too heavy
  • Branding could be consistent on all the pages
